I’ve spent the last week flapping my arms like an angry chicken for one simple reason… …To show you how important it is to know what’s selling… …Before you waste money and years of time. But how can you do that? Today I’m going to give you my step by step scientific formula so you can spot and find profitable ideas fast. BY THE WAY: This isn’t some made up theory. By the end of this email... ...You’ll know how to research, validate your idea, and confirm people want your offers. Behold, my secret formula: Straightforward tutorial style…. Step 1: Pick a market, ANY market… Fun fact: If you read 3 books on any subject, you now know more than 85% of the world population on that subject. I don’t know about you… …But if you’re in the top 15% of the world on a given subject? I’d consider you an expert. Why does this matter? Because if you read books, content, or even listen to podcasts on a given subject. You’ll know more than the average Joe. Pick that topic as your market for profitable ideas. I’ve been on a fitness program for the last 6 months. And binge fitness podcasts like a fat boy on cupcakes… I’ll use fitness in this example. Step 2: Find real conversations. My new favorite tool? GummySearch. It literally tells you what your customers are talking about on Reddit. It’s great for startup ideas, product validation, content ideas, and most importantly… …Leads for sales. The free option works well. I simply go to GummySearch. And I’ll build an audience around “fitness”. Which means compiling all of the big subreddits like r/fitness into one master group. I chose 4 subreddits to follow: •r/xxfitness - 3M members I now have a marketplace of around 16,000,000 people at my fingertips in seconds. Even better? I don’t have to spend hours crawling through each subreddit for information. GummySearch spits it right out. Now here’s what I’m looking for to help me get profitable business ideas: •Complaints Gummy Search uses AI to sift through millions of members and chats in my audience. And breaks the conversation into themes like: •Hot topics. All of these themes are a gold mine for profitable ideas. I’ll explain why in the next step. Step 3: Problem banking. I use a simple spreadsheet to collect 50 - 100 problems via GummySearch. Why so many? Because the best businesses are founded by solving 1 urgent crisis… I save every problem I can find in my prospects’ voice. But, I want to see which problems are recurring. Or what questions are being asked over and over. When you put these problems into a spreadsheet. And organize each problem under a bigger topic… You’ll start to see patterns of people handing you a profitable angle. But wait there’s more! Step 4: Spot the gap. I found an interesting recurring problem. •”Home gym ideas?” Do you see the pattern here? If not, let me explain… If you find a problem that is unanswered, and the market is not served you now have a profitable business idea. In fact, lightbulbs started exploding in my head for product ideas: •$7 at home gym blueprint PDF. Whenever I’m brainstorming profitable business ideas. I try to figure out how I can “upsell” the market. AKA create solutions for people or businesses with more money. People who want you to do the work for them, often have more money. Even better? People who have a home with extra space for a gym definitely have money! Sell them the blueprint for cheap, then offer higher ticket gym set up services… But let’s keep going… What if I set up gyms for businesses? Think gyms for corporate buildings. Now those guys have money. These simple steps sparked strong business ideas. They can bring in a lot of cash in the right market. But how do I validate this idea? Step 5: Validate. Now I have an idea that’s in demand. But how can I validate that people will actually buy it? Here’s the first rule of validation: If someone else has a business based on your idea, then you can start a business on that idea. Study your competition. Why? Because they’ve done the hard work for you. I use perplexity.ai to scrape the web for solutions instantly. It’s like magic. I love it. Anyway… Steal this dead simple prompt I use to find competitors and validate I can make businesses off my ideas: “As a world-class market researcher with 20 years of experience building ICP profiles for high-end clients, help me find 5 businesses that perform for you at home gym setups. Compare their pricing for me” Wow these results are sick: Gym Wise Install Services: Equipment installation, relocation, extraction, and full gym projects Pricing: Custom quotes based on project scope. Typically ranges from £500-£5000+ for full gym setups. Elite Installation Services Services: Nationwide commercial and residential gym equipment installation Pricing: Custom quotes, but generally: Basic home gym setup: $1,000-$3,000 Premium home gym installation: $5,000-$15,000+ Gym design, equipment supply, installation, and flooring Pricing: Basic setup: $2,500-$5,000 Mid-range setup: $5,000-$10,000 High-end setup: $10,000-$25,000+ Ok I’m not going to bore you with all of these. But there are businesses that charge a whopping $100,000 dollar package. Insane! And the demand is higher than ever for these packages. Now that’s just one of many business validation processes I have. My next step is to optimize services for a wealthy community that lacks them. You want to be the big fish in a small pond. Now, I know you’re probably thinking… ‘How do I compare solutions if no one else is doing what I do?’ Tomorrow I’ll wrap this up with answers to the most common questions people have. Got questions about finding and checking profitable business ideas? Just reply and ask! I’ll answer those questions tomorrow. Catch ya soon, Parker |
