In times of need, Mongolian warlord Genghis Khan would return to Burkhan Khaldun, located in the Khentii Mountains of northeastern Mongolia, where he was born. He'd reflect and get back to his roots. I'm lucky enough that my parents still reside in the house I was born and raised in. I get the chance to walk in the same footsteps I did as a child. I get to reflect and think about what I've done, how far I've come, and not worry about the future or things I can't control. The most important part is reflecting and feeling gratitude for those who've played a pivotal role in my life. Obviously, my parents, friends, and mentors who've come and gone.
