Honey, I think I broke LinkedIn

I never read LinkedIn content.

But when I do, it’s to laugh at the Claude slop with selfies of people who think that’s the best way to grow a business.

I just rotate my Twitter content to LinkedIn to show people that I’m alive.

And use Sales Navigator for outreach.

The funny part is that even with 20,000 followers, my posts yield like 100–200 impressions.

Which I guess is LinkedIn’s funny way of telling me how unimportant I am.

Until…

I logged on to do my usual ego-enhancement exercise of laughing at the crap content, and I told my GF:

“Honey, I think I broke LinkedIn.”

Because not one, but two of my posts back-to-back started going viral.

Collectively, they both reached about 140,000 impressions, which is nothing compared to posts I’ve had that hit millions of views on X.

But let me tell ya…

I learned a big lesson. Because those LinkedIn impressions are a heckuva lot more valuable than X impressions. Immediately, I started getting inbound leads. I booked 5 sales calls with hyper-qualified people, landed 2 partnerships with cold email lead gen tools, and couldn’t believe the power of this platform.

So here’s how I went viral so you can do the same:

Psych, gotcha.

Haha, sorry, I had to. Because honestly, I have no idea how this happened. Frankly, I think the platform had a bug. And after growing an audience of around 80,000 followers, I’ve learned the hard way that social media content and going viral is a losing game.

I chalk the results up to just dumb luck.

I happened to be consistently posting when the algorithm got a hit of crack and decided to show a slice of the platform this chump with a neck tattoo.

But I can tell you my new process for researching and posting content on all platforms.

And it takes me about 2 hours a week (besides YouTube).

Recently, I joined Eden, which is Dan Koe’s tool.

I gotta give credit where credit is due. I’m not the biggest fan of Dan’s content, but that guy knows the content game inside and out.

The platform connects and posts to every social media platform (unlike others).

But my favorite feature is the discovery tool.

Basically, it scrapes and presents the most viral breakout content across social media platforms. I take the winners, swipe the hook and the format…

Then I have ChatGPT access a bank I built of all my courses, emails, and scripts, and tell it:

“Take novel ideas from my content bank, and write it to fit this winning hook and format.”

I’ll have to buff out the output, but social media rewards 3 things:

  1. Hook
  2. Frame
  3. Novelty

Eden takes care of the first two for me instantly. The rest of my writing brings the novelty.

And I’m not affiliated with this tool in any way.

Just wanna show you what’s winning for me so you can do the same.

Cool?

Cool.

Ciao,

Parker

There are a lot of things that irritate me: People chewing with their mouths open Drivers who don’t use their blinker People who fart on airplanes But above all, this irritates me the most: Everyone and their mother is posting “predictions,” pretending they’re smart enough to tell you the future. HINT: They can’t. Think about it… Ever since the dawn of time, humans have been awful at predicting the future. Need an example? Let’s start with my favorite prediction of all time, the automobile...
